Born in Guadalajara in 1998. I am a transdisciplinary artist from western Mexico working with simple monochromatic drawings in dialogue with naturalistic imagery through animentary films and installations. An examination of societal and ecological relations in the Anthropocene [Capitalocene, Chthulucene, Plantationocene].



「 Tattooing a hill. A redistribution of irritation and poetry. Beauty in the crooked details. An invitation to a quiet picnic in the eye of the hurricane. The charm of a line on a surface. I close my eyes and I see it. I dream, and I see it. Lines moving in the void. Not always graceful. Landscapes fading away.
For thousands of years, we have drawn the same basic figures. I am (and you are) an anomaly, a living being. I draw, I create, I erase (rarely*), I try again. I write artist statements on a keyboard made from the processed remains of ancient organisms and metals, in a world where the chance of me existing at these coordinates (34.39351144285241, -118.56678470108439) is low. As low as high, because the beginning folds into the end, and the end folds back into the beginning. Thus, "good looking" art is the one that looks like a lost pencil test, a glyph deep in a cave, a quick note on a napkin, and bad art is ___________________ ← Fill in with whoever you worship.
